Sterling concho by Navajo artist Fred Guerro (deceased) from Puertocito, NM, circa 2000. Deep stamping and significant weight on the whole belt. Ten conchos each measure 2 3/8" by 2" at the widest, and the buckle measures 3 1/4" by 2 3/8" at the widest. The leather is 1 1/2" wide and 43" long, with holes at 36" and at 38". Zuni artist Val Dickson created this inlaid sunface link concho belt. The belt measures 38 1/4", including 4 links at the end. Seventeen conchos and one buckle each measure approximately 1 1/2" in diameter and are inlaid with mother of pearl, coral, turquoise and jet. Beautiful piece with lustrous mother of pearl.
